Livy handles your customers' data with a focus on consent and transparency.

## Consent

Every marketing send passes through a **consent gate**: Livy never contacts a
customer who didn't agree to receive communications.

  Carts and customers are recorded together with their consent status. Those who didn't
  consent feed aggregated metrics, but don't receive emails.

## Data Livy handles

* Customer identification (to assign points and history)
* Marketing consent
* Program activity (points, redemptions, orders)

## Compliance

Livy is designed to respect the privacy regulations applicable to e-commerce.
For data deletion requests, they are processed according to Shopify's
flows.
