Activate or pause the program
At the top right you see the program’s status. It can be in one of three states:Not startedIt wasn’t started during onboarding and isn’t running yet. To turn it on, click “Activate”.
ActiveIt’s running normally: your customers see it and can earn and redeem points. If you need to, click “Pause”.
PausedYour customers can’t earn or redeem points. To turn it back on, click “Reactivate”.
Name your program and your points
In “Points settings” you choose the name of your program and your points. It’s what your customers will see in the store and in emails, and you can edit it whenever you want. For example:- Coffee shop: points “Beans”, program “Coffee Club”.
- Surf shop: points “Soles”, program “Surf Circle”.
Define how points are earned
In “Ways to earn” you decide which actions let your customers add points:Points per purchase
How many points the customer earns based on what they spend. For example, 1 point for every $1.
Welcome points
The ones you give someone for signing up to the program. They’re optional.
Points per purchase are credited when the order is marked as paid. If that order is refunded, the points are canceled automatically.
Points expiration
You can let points expire after a while or never expire. You adjust this from “Points settings” as well. How your customers redeem points
Your customers redeem their points for fixed discounts, on the cart page or at checkout, depending on where you’ve activated Livy’s components.Fixed discounts
These are discounts of a fixed amount of money (for example, $5 off) that your customers redeem with their points. Unlike a percentage, they always subtract the same amount, so you control exactly how much each redemption is worth.
How do you set them up?
1
Go to Ways to redeem
There you create and order the discounts your customers will be able to redeem.
2
Set the point value
You choose how many points equal $1 of discount and Livy calculates the rest.
3
Add your discounts
Add at least one so the program works. If you want, set a minimum purchase so it only applies above a certain amount.
4
Your customers redeem it
They use their points on the cart page or at checkout, depending on where you’ve activated Livy’s components.
